A Lyrical Story!

Music is the best way to express our innermost emotions. So in this post, I tried something different. I compiled all my favourite lines from the lyrics of different songs and tried to depict a story through it..a feeling we always have when we lose someone special who mattered to us a lot, but when we still clasp our hands with Hope, that may be someday, that person will come back and walk in through the open door of our heart…

so here it is (and don’t forget they are lyrics from many different songs, I’ve just compiled them, and presented them in my own way to say a story):

We do what we have to when we fall in love.

We say what we need to get out when it’s not enough.

You could come and save me and try to chase the crazy right out of my head

And now I got way too many feels, way too much emotion..

I don’t even know what’s real!

I’ve heard this life is overrated

But I hope that it gets better as we go..

I would take a whisper if that’s all you had to give,

But it isn’t, is it?

Sometimes when I close my eyes I pretend I’m alright,

But it’s never enough…

Where are you now?

Was it all in my fantasy?

What hurts the most, was being so close and having so much to say, and watching you walk away…

It’s so loud inside my head

With words that I should have said!

I’m pulling pictures off from our walls, ’til you say, “here, here I am”,

And I’ll leave the door on the latch,

If you ever come back, if you ever come back…
