Somehow between profit maximisation and degrading ethics, the lines have blurred and thinned to such an extent that now we can hardly tell one from the another. In this age of rapid industrialisation, producers only look for increasing profits and consumers yearn for cheap prices. But how often do we think about the quality and standards of the products that we are using? We see things pertaining to only short term effects, but what about those unforeseen long term consequences that we are so comfortably neglecting?
